Received busted spray and tallow that intentionally had the Best Buy scraped off to hide the fact that it’s expired.. This product is great otherwise but the last three times I’ve ordered it’s been a waste of money. Busted cans that don’t spray and leak - or expired tallow. So I’ve wasted a lot of money on the last year trying to restock.
Second delivery where all items are busted and completely unusable! Tallow had expiration date scratched off so I don’t know if it’s expired or not. Customer service offered no solution just wanted pictures which I sent. No response as of yet. Very disappointed as I love these products. But so far I’ve wasted almost $100 trying to get their products because they break in shipping or don’t have proper expiration dates visible. Last 3 spray cans have been and leaking or malfunction. At $15 each plus shipping and the tallow I can’t use - that’s $100 wasted giving them chance after chance to deliver products properly.
The safety seal was torn and jar was open in the package. Tallow had leaked out of the jar and when tightening the lid it was gritty. I’ve used this before and is a great product, but the product was damaged. I sent an email about it a week ago and haven’t received a response. Based on the non-response I plan on going elsewhere for my tallow.
I most recently used Lard to make homemade sopapillas. Using it in place of vegetable shortening in the dough made for silky, pillowy sopapillas. Frying them in Lard created the perfect, golden color. Utter perfection inside and out.
