Ingredients:
-
1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
-
1 small wheel brie (8-12 oz)
-
2 tbsp fruit preserves
-
South Chicago Packing Wagyu Beef Tallow Cooking Spray
-
Crackers, for serving
Directions:
-
Preheat oven to 400°F. Lightly flour a work surface and roll out the puff pastry. Place the brie wheel in the center of the pastry.
-
Fold the pastry edges up and over the brie, pinching seams to fully seal.
-
Transfer to a parchment-lined baking sheet and lightly coat the pastry with Wagyu Beef Tallow Cooking Spray.
-
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and puffed.
-
Let cool for 5 minutes. Top with fruit preserves and serve warm with crackers.
Tip:
For an extra-special presentation, add a thin layer of fruit preserves, chopped pecans, or walnuts on top of the brie before wrapping it in the puff pastry.
