We have a team of QA specialists and chemists who evaluate and test our products around the clock to ensure your products are produced safely and correctly every time.

HACCP & Sanitation Programs

Our science-based, NACMCF-compliant HACCP programs have been rigorously vetted with qualified food safety experts through our Food Safety Advisory Council, and we continuously validate our food safety controls to ensure we have the most robust systems in place.


From the moment product reaches our property, until it ships from our dock, SCP has the latest technology to ensure our products remain safe. Our system controls are regularly upgraded to ensure rigorous process controls are in place, allowing us to accurately produce our products to our customers' many different specifications.

Audits & Employee Training

As of September 2016, South Chicago Packing is Level 2 SQF Certified. Achieving SQF certification assures our current and future customers that our products are manufactured with excellent quality while following rigorous food safety standards.

To ensure employees at all levels in the organization understand our quality controls and requirements, we deliver regular training on critical programs. Additionally, we conduct various levels of audits to ensure our protocols are being followed. Daily GMP and product quality audits and quarterly facility and audits are just a few of the ongoing assessments we conduct.

Food Safety Advisory Council

In 2010, as part of our long-term vision for food safety, SCP established a Food Safety Advisory Council featuring external advisers who collaborate with us on food safety improvements and constantly challenge us and help us anticipate future regulatory or scientific challenges.
